Crocus bulbs will be planted on West Road bank in October with the help of the local junior schools.
The bulbs have been funded by the Neighbourhood Board and will be maintained by Derby Homes.
The board have also funded crocus and snow drop bulbs to be planted behind the village hall with the help of Year 6 students at the local primary school.
