Spondon Neighbourhood Board - Local Transport Priorities 2015/16

Last year, Spondon Neighbourhood Board agreed its Local Transport Priorities for 2014/15 which are to replace the slabbed footways with tarmac on the footways on Sandringham Drive and Hampton Close. This is due to start around February 2015.

At a recent board meeting, the Board agreed its two Local Transport Priorities for next year 2015/16 with a commitment to complete the work due to start in February. Subject to Council cabinet approval, this means that the slabbed footways on Holyrood and Hampton Close will also be replaced with tarmac. The Board has also requested the adopted footpath from Dale Road to Holyrood Close is resurfaced at the same time.

As a reserve priority, the Board has identified footway improvements on Dale Road - initial design and investigation work to improve footways and drainage from the shops on Dale Road to Moor Street.
