Spondon Neighbourhood Forum

Spondon Neighbourhood Forum is a public meeting that takes place four times a year. It gives residents an opportunity to raise issues that affect you and the Spondon community and find out what is happening in your community. The meeting is attended by your Spondon ward Councillors, the Police and officers from other local public services.
At the bottom of the page, you can download the latest Forum papers, giving full details of the meeting together with a full update of recent actions around the area. Even if you don't plan to attend the meeting, there is a lot of useful and interesting information about what's happening in Spondon within the papers and are well worth a read.
March's Forum meeting takes place on Wednesday 7th March at Spondon Cricket Club. This Forum meeting will particularly focus on activities and services for older people in Spondon. The meeting will feature Olwen Wilson from Derby City Council Adults Health and Housing who will talk about the changes taking place in Adult Social Care.
This meeting will also include:
Making Spondon safer – The Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and the Anti Social
Behaviour Team from City and Neighbourhood Partnerships will provide an update on their
activities in Spondon to make the community safer. You will be able to discuss and agree the Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team Policing priorities for the next 3 months.
Streetpride update – find out about how this years Streetpride Devolved Budget has been
used and plans for next year.
Council Information and Consultations – information about changes to services and
many opportunities to respond to Council consultations.
Spondon Neighbourhood Board - find out who the Spondon Board members are, how you can become a Board member.
What’s happening in Spondon and Question Time - You will have the opportunity to find out what is happening in Spondon, meet other people who care about the neighbourhood and raise your views and concerns and ask questions relating to Spondon.
The Forum papers downloadable below feature much more detail about each of the above topics along with details of many of the Board achievements over the last year. Also available to download is the Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team Beat report and a poster about the Forum meeting which you can display to inform others about the meeting.
