Tackling Anti Social Behaviour in Spondon

Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team report that unfortunately residents on Hobson Drive have been experiencing anti-social behaviour on the public park area recently. This has included damage to the park, graffiti, drinking and verbal abuse from young people.

Agencies are working together to tackle this and identify the individuals concerned and plans have been put in place to stop this include:

  • A letter to all the residents from the local Councillors .
  • Additional Police patrols in the area,
  • Hobson Drive will become a Policing Priority
  • Youth workers collecting intelligence and trying to engage these young people
  • Park staff repairing the damage to the park equipment , fences and bins

But the Safer Neighbourhood Team need your help!

They are urging residents to call the Police on 101 to report any anti -social behaviour witnessed or concerns as these incidents need to be recorded and the few individuals that are causing the problem identified and appropriate action taken.

Let's work together and keep Spondon a beautiful place to live
