Spondon Neighbourhood Board have funded a free skip which will be available on the car park on Holyrood Close/Sandringham Drive from 8.00am to 11.30am on Saturday 22 February.
The Board are working in partnership with Streetpride and are arranging to have a sweeper to clean car parks and roads on the Sandringham Estate.
A litter pick is also arranged for the same morning and volunteers are required. If you would like to volunteer please contact Cllr Poulter or Mandy Douglass Neighbourhood Officer.
Please do not park in the car park between evening of Friday 21st to 11.30 am Saturday 22 Feb as access needed for skip.
We will be doing similar around Cambridge Street and Kirk Lees Ave South in April while the Friends of Spondon Cemetery will also be arranging litter picks and improvements in the Spring.
