Long-standing Safer Neighbourhood Team member bids farewell to Spondon

Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to make you aware of a couple of changes to your local policing team.

On Friday 19th Dec, PCSO Kate Hodnett (pictured right) works her last day as part of the Spondon team. Kate has been a valuable member of the team for 6 years and has worked hard to build community relations.

Kate often works alongside the various community groups within the village including schools, Neighbourhood Watch and Safer Spondon. She will be moving to become part of the Clay Cross Safer Neighbourhood Team. We would like to thank Kate for all her hard work and wish her luck with her new post.

Kate’s replacement is PCSO James Bennett (also pictured), who joined the team on the 10th November.

As of 19th December, your team will be the following: PCSO James Bennett, PCSO Matthew Thurman, PC Vicki Marriott and PC Stephen Meek.
