Craft Fayre to showcase Spondon makers

03 February 2022

A Spring Craft Fayre is aiming to bring together a variety of makers and crafters from around Spondon.

The fayre is being held in Spondon Village Hall on Saturday 19th March and expects to have around 15 stalls, all from the local area, each selling different ranges of unique handcrafted items.

The stalls will include glass painted items, wooden toys, handmade scarves, handcrafted hair accessories, cross-stitch, beaded jewellery and more. There will also be stalls from Flamingo Cards and Body Shop and plus a raffle and tombola. Local bakery, Pat A Cake, will also be hosting a pop-up cake stall too.

The event is being organised by a young local crafter, Minx Made. The 16-year-old had the idea to hold a fayre that specifically showcases the work of local crafters such as herself which may otherwise often go unseen.

The event will run from 9am until 12.30pm on 19th March and entry is free. (Stalls are all fully booked already). See the event page on Facebook for further details.
